RevPi Core 3

 

Quad-core power for Revolution Pi!  Get the RevPi Core 3 - equipped with the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3 - if you need high performance to fulfill your tasks. The multi-core processor by Broadcom has enough power for complex tasks such as image processing.

 

Revolution Pi is an open-source, modular and inexpensive industrial PC based on the well-known Raspberry Pi. Packaged in a slim DIN-rail housing, the three available base modules can be seamlessly expanded by a variety of suitable I/O modules and fieldbus/industrial Ethernet gateways.

The RevPi is a platform for both services and applications, The 24V powered modules are connected via an overhead connector in seconds and can be easily configured via a graphical configuration tool.

The RevPi is integrated and it enables IIoT and Industry 4.0 machines, assets and systems through MQTT, OPC UA.

USB interfaces

Two USB A connectors are available. You can connect USB 2.0 client devices (e.g. USB hard drives, surfsticks, etc). Each port can only be loaded with up to a max of 500 mA.

Network interface

Safety: Turn on the power supply only after you have mounted your device onto the DIN rail. the voltage range for RevPi devices can be operated from 10.7 V – 28.8 V.

Micro-USB interface

A USB host system can be connected here (e.g. a PC to upload software onto your device).

Please note! RevPi will not start up as long as the Micro-USB plug is still connected, disconnect the Micro-USB plug after transferring the software to your RevPi Core.
Caution! Something you may know from your mobile phone’s charging port is that micro plugs are sensitive. This is why you should always connect it using little effort and never use force or twist the plug. Only pull them out of the port without twisting and never bend connected plugs to the side.

Status LEDs

RevPi Core has 3 status LEDs. We have already fitted LED Power. It indicates whether your RevPi Core is functioning properly (green) or whether there is a problem (red).
The two other LEDs are freely programmable for your projects.
